
Zimbabwe’s Minister of Information, Publicity and Broadcasting Services, Ms Monica Mutsvangwa, has, according to the organisers of the upcoming industry summit on “Broadcasting And Digital Media Summit Of Zimbabwe”, been confirmed to lead the line-up of industry speakers at the event.
Presented by Broadcast Media Africa in partnership with the Zimbabwe Association of Broadcasters (ZAB), the high-profile industry event will take place from Tuesday, March 15 to Wednesday, March 16, 2022, in Victoria Falls.
With the theme: “Digital broadcasting – Promoting Our Values, Enriching Our Lives”, the Minister’s will address participants at the convention on the issues surrounding “Maintaining Broadcasting As A Platform For Social Inclusion And Economic Development”.
According to the head of the production for the convention, Ms Yonela Nxokwana of Broadcast Media Africa, Minister Monica Mutsvangwa, will illuminate her views and perspectives on the continent challenges and existing gaps for advancement in the media sector, and how, together with her team, is working towards the success of digital inclusion to bridge the urban-rural, poor-rich divide in Zimbabwe.
The organisers and their international and local partners and sponsors have declared the upcoming “Broadcasting And Digital Media Summit Of Zimbabwe” as an excellent opportunity for the industry to ask questions and freely engage with local and international industry executives to gain more insights into their plans for Zimbabwe’s broadcasting media ecosystem.
