The Soweto giants (Kaizer Chiefs) will play reigning champions Ahly in the Champions League final for the first time on Saturday at the Mohammed V Stadium in Casablanca, Morocco. SuperSport has since announced that the final will be broadcast on Channel 202 in South Africa, Channel 205 in Nigeria, and Channel 225 throughout the rest of the African continent.
“Games on the continent don’t get any bigger than this, and SuperSport is excited to showcase Africa’s best in a match of this magnitude,” SuperSport chief executive said on securing the broadcasting rights for the CAF final. Fans will undoubtedly be encouraged by the presence of two of Africa’s big clubs in a significant final during these trying times.”
“The Kaizer Chiefs team are an enigmatic squad. They qualified for the CAF Champions League final despite having a low league rating in South Africa.
