
Showmax, the streaming platform owned by Multichoice DStv, has announced it will broadcast the show in every country across Africa, the United Kingdom, Australia, and New Zealand.
The seventh season of Nigerian Idol will premiere on February 6, 2022. Viewers in these countries will be able to follow all of the excitement and drama on Showmax, from auditions to theatre week to the live events, which will begin on March 20, 2022.

The three-month music reality show will follow the lives of talented and aspiring musicians as they go through rigorous training to become the next superstar in music. The winner will walk away with prizes worth US$ 241 986,80. The above mentioned is the highest reward in any singing competition in Nigeria. Showmax will also air highlights and audition processes from the show’s seventh season.
With shows like ‘Ghana Jollof,’ ‘Baba Twins,’ and its most recent Kenyan series, ‘Single Ish,’ releasing on the platform on January 20, 2022, Showmax has progressively become the home of entertaining original content.
