The Broadcasting And Digital Media Convention – Nigeria, convened by this Broadcast Media Africa (BMA), in association with the Broadcasting Organisations Of Nigeria (BON) and MultiChoice Nigeria, is commencing tomorrow 22nd March until Wednesday23rd March at JohnWood Hotel By Bolton in Central Abuja, Nigeria.
The initiative is an opportunity by the industry role players to bring together practitioners to discuss and share ideas on the threshold of fully transitioning to the digital ecosystem and, in the process, enable the maximisation of universal delivery of fully-digital broadcasting services to all Nigerians.
The discussions at the summit will be inclusive of pointers to the Nigerian market from Amin Alhassan, the Director-General of Ghana Broadcasting Corporation, who will expand on Ghana’s success in securing their digital migration with adequate funding.
According to Benjamin Pius, the Publisher at Broadcast Media Africa, “it is essential for stakeholders to appreciate the dynamics of the new digital environment. Therefore, BMA, together with BON and MultiChoice Nigeria, found it necessary to create a platform for the interactions of the different value-chain players.”
“On behalf of my organisation and our partners, I, therefore, invite all senior executives and professionals from TV, radio, film, music, advertising and new media platforms to join us in Abuja as we unpack challenges and opportunities in getting the appropriate operational capabilities in the digital ecosystem.
