This season, Kim Engelbrecht (Reyka, The Flash), a SAFTA-winning South African actress, joins the cast as Decima, a weapons engineer who becomes Marcus’ first recruit. She is also attempting to rekindle her relationship with Vrille, an android version of her deceased daughter.
Season 1 was one of Showmax’s 10 Most-Watched of 2021 and was nominated for three Critics’ Choice Super Awards: Best Actress: Sci-Fi (Collin), Best Science Fiction/Fantasy Series, and Best Actor: Sci-Fi (Fimmel), as well as Fantasy, Emmy and Academy of Science Fiction, and Horror Films awards.
