
The first episode of Glo Battle of the Year Nigeria will be available to viewers on the company’s mobile streaming app, GloTV, at 8 p.m. on Saturday, February 5.
According to a statement from the programme sponsors, the reality television show offers millions of dollars in cash to winners in seven dancing categories and the opportunity to represent Nigeria at the international Battle of the Year competition.
The broadcast will consist of 13 episodes, which will enthral viewers and keep them glued to their television screens. “We’ve been blown away by the response we’ve gotten since we started the call for entry phase of the Glo Battle of the Year Nigeria competition. “The range of Nigerian talents we’ve seen has been nothing short of extraordinary, and we’re eager to show the world the calibre of dancing talents and entertainment Nigeria has to offer,” the statement said.
“We commend our partners and project team’s dedication in making the show available for episodic viewing in Nigeria for the first time. We are confident that both the performers and the audience will have a thrilling experience. “We encourage them to download the GloTV app from myglotv.com and watch the talents dance their way to mega-millions,” the company said.
Nigeria’s Glo Battle of the Year’s unique format consists of three stages: regional battle rounds and quarter-finals, followed by the live semi-finals and final performance shows.
Poco Lee, Pinky Debbie, Izzy Odigie, Big Flo, Maxbuck, Dunamis, Franc Okwara, JC Jedor, Poxy (Cameroon), Gidnasty (USA), Menno (Netherlands), and Manuela (Germany) will be among the show’s seasoned coaches. The show will be hosted by an on-air personality (OAP) and actor Do2tun.
