The South African Netflix original teen series “Blood & Water” is currently in production, and fans around the world are excited.
The previous seasons were well received and trended in different countries worldwide, and viewers were asking for more.
Netflix shared a teaser on their Instagram account with the caption: “Mzansi’s coolest kids are back! #BloodAndWater season 3 is currently in production. Here’s your first look.”
The cast of the series includes Ama Qamata, who plays the role of Puleng Khumalo; Dillon Windvogel (Wade); Khosi Ngema (Filkile); Thabang Molaba (KB) and Arno Greeff (Chris).
Wendy Dlamini, played by Natasha Thahane, was not included in the picture.
In the second season of the Cape Town-based series, viewers were left at the edge of their seats. Manager of Content for Africa at Netflix, Dorothy Ghettuba, guaranteed viewers the best season.
“We are so delighted to share that ‘Blood & Water’ has been renewed for a third season, and production is currently underway in Cape Town, South Africa,” Ghettuba mentioned.
“The production team at Gambit Films – Nosipho Dumisa, Bradley Joshua and Daryne Joshua – are thrilled and working hard to create the best season thus far.
We can not reveal much detail currently about the production; viewers should keep an eye out for any news on the series and when the final product will be on their screens,” she added.
Season 2 introduced new characters, Leroy Siyafa, who plays Sam and Reece, played by Greteli Fincham.
